Changes I need to make and my final double page spread.
Here I have realised that the writing is on the left and people read from the right so I have now changed it to the correct way and I have also switched some of the writing to different places.
Here is it done with the changes made and my final double page spread.
Double page spread
For my double page spread I have again kept the theme and house colours. The background remains black so it all links and there is one main image and then a few small ones of the band in action and having fun. I have use bold white writing which is a question which will catch the readers eye as it connects with the audience. Throughout it I have used turquoise/mint bold writing for the interview questions and bold white writing for the answers. All the writing is bold so it stands out.

Contents page
For my contents page I have used the same theme and house colours so it is all related. I have used one medium size image which is the main focus and then a smaller one as it gives more away of the band and what they are like. The small images on the contents page are the free posters included in the magazine. I have also put an image of the double page spread on the contents page so it connects more with the audiences and makes them want to read it and it gives them more of a insight of what they are about to read.
The background has remained black and the writing for the page numbers are bold and are also a different colour from the writing about what is on the page, I have done this so it stands out more and is more easy to understand.
I have also used questions on the content page to get the audience connected to the magazine and to make them want to read it to find out the answers to the questions.
Other conventions I have used on my content page:

Front cover
For my music magazine I chosen a rock genre. I picked a theme that would stay constant through my magazine. I chosen the image for the front cover because it has a direct link with the audience. The magazine is directed towards teens and young adults and thats why I have chosen the image as it connects with the audience. I chosen a black background to take the images so the 3 young ladies (the band) stands out and also because the magazine is rock the black indicates it more. I have also used the colours white and turquoise/mint I have used these colours as on the black it makes them stand out and these colours are also used on my contents page and double page spread, so my house colours are black, white and turquoise/mint.
I have used buzz words to get the audiences attention and to make the interviews, competitions ect seem as though they are worth reading. I have also used quotes and questions to get the audience thinking and to give them an insight on what it could be about.

Creating my double page spread
While I am going to be creating my double page spread i am going to be looking at a few of kerrangs double page spreads to give me some ideas for my own.
Contents page temple
When I was creating my contents page I was looking at one of Kerrangs music magazines contents page as they are one of my style models. By looking at this it helped me a lot when I was designing mine and it gave me more ideas of what to add and how to place the images, text and more.
My contents page
Most of my contents page is finished now i just need to add a few more things and adjust a few more things.
